Instruction for manuscript preparation and submission

All manuscripts submitted to conference will be refereed and some of them will be accepted for publication in the Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research Section B.

As there are total page limitations for the conference proceedings, we have to limit the paper length for each article. The length for an invited article is limited to not more than 8 pages and that for a regular article (as an oral or poster presentation) is limited to 4 pages.

The preparation of a full manuscript should be consistent with NIMB style, and the general format can be found in the following web page (guidelines for authors)
http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/journaldescription.cws_home/505674/authorinstructions. On the other hand, the authors may use an Elsevier template (click here to download) to simplify the length estimation of manuscript, as well as to facilitate fast publication of the conference papers.

The Word file of full manuscripts can be submitted through WEB from September 1 to October 12, 2008. In addition to electronic submission, two hardcopies of your manuscript should be submitted to conference secretary at reception on Oct. 12. The hardcopies should be the same as your electronic version, and will be used for the review process during the conference.
